Navattic alternatives for how-to videos

Navattic captures your product as an interactive HTML demo and wires it into the sales stack — account identification, pipeline reporting, a long integration list. People look for a Navattic alternative when the deliverable has to be a file and a link rather than an embedded element, when the audience is customers being onboarded rather than prospects being sold to, or simply because three of its four paid tiers carry no price on the pricing page.

Before the list

First: should you actually leave Navattic?

Navattic is an interactive product demo platform. There are jobs it does better than anything below, and if you recognise yourself on the left, the cheapest alternative is the one you already have.

Stay with Navattic if…

  • Your demo belongs in a landing page as an interactive element a visitor drives themselves.
  • You need deep CRM and sales-stack integration — their tiers list Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Gong, Salesloft, Outreach and more.
  • You want account identification, pipeline-impact reporting and A/B testing on the demo itself.
  • You want AI avatars with the demo; their plans list 50, 100 and 300 avatar minutes by tier.
  • A single free demo is enough to start: Starter is free for everyone, 1 seat, 1 demo.

Look for an alternative if…

  • You need a file and a link: an MP4 for a help centre, an email or a launch post, plus a numbered written guide.
  • The audience has to learn a procedure and then repeat it in the real product.
  • You want per-minute pricing rather than seats: Navattic sells Base and Growth as seat bundles, read on 2 October 2026.
  • You want narration, captions and the guide from one take rather than a demo plus a separate video tool.

8 Navattic alternatives for how-to videos

Coming from Navattic, two rows decide it. 'Interactive click-through demos' tells you which cards are even in your category — and if the answer has to be yes, the tool you have is the category you need. 'Entry price' is the other: Navattic's paid tiers are quoted annually without a public figure, so every card below is the first price you will have actually been able to read.

Ours first — it's our site — then the rest, closest to Navattic first. Every other card quotes that company's own pricing or product page as of 15 August 2026, and links to the row-by-row comparison it was written from.

Questions

Leaving Navattic, answered plainly

What will Navattic actually cost me?

Their pricing page lists Starter as free for everyone — 1 seat, 1 demo — and Startup, Base and Growth as billed annually without naming a figure, as of 11 September 2026. We have left that row as "not listed" rather than repeating a number from a review site. stepvideo's prices are on the pricing page: Creator $29 a month for 25 rendered AI video minutes, Studio $99 for 100, and a 10-day free trial with 5 AI minutes, no card.

Can stepvideo replace a Navattic demo on my website?

No. An embedded element a visitor clicks through is Navattic's product, and stepvideo's output is a rendered video — it plays rather than responds. What you can do is put the share page or the MP4 on the site instead, which is a different thing and works for a different audience: people who have already bought and need to be taught.

What do I gain by adding stepvideo rather than replacing Navattic?

The deliverables Navattic's pricing page doesn't list: an MP4 you can put anywhere, burned-in captions, and a numbered written guide with a screenshot per step from the same recording. You can upload an existing MP4 and stepvideo will zoom it, but the cuts, the step boundaries and the written guide come from the click events the Chrome extension records — an upload has none, so exported footage doesn't get the full edit. Most teams that end up with both use the demo for prospects and the videos for customers.
